Launching our PREP Kits Initiative!
Children of lower socioeconomic status struggle to access educational resources due to being unable to afford new resources every academic year, and oftentimes, not having similar tools compared to other children at such an early age can lead to social ostracism, bullying, and lack of self-confidence amongst these kids, creating serious detrimental effects towards their future.
Our PREP Kits provide binders, notebooks, pencils, headphones, folders, and other back-to-school supplies for the children we support. In addition, we have partnered with online educational organizations such as Khan Academy and IXL to include subscriptions for these children in having extra support during the school year.
Our kits also provide pamphlets and stickers with all crisis hotline codes, online platforms/apps, along with art and music therapy. Through a series of fundraising and assembly events, our organization has been able to globally donate 35K PREP Kits! Donate to STEMstars Literacy Foundation to further support our initiative.
